Hi out there in
Garden Land!
Was 2005 a hot dry year? Let's
hope we can get alot of snow or
moisture over the winter. It's
really hard to wait for spring to
come when you walk into a
greenhouse in bloom and look
out the window and see snow!
This excitement has always
been here for me and will be
forever. Gardening is the best
way to relax and commune with
mother nature for me.
This year is going to be filled
with fantastic foliage. Wow!!
The plants that I knew as house
plants and the new varieties are

so awesome in containers or home garden. We have expanded our annual production so we won't be sold out so early this year.
Some of the new plants will really turn your heads.
We will have more tomatoes and peppers. Alot of them will be heirloom varieties. Also, we are going to try a few new things.
One is large pots of annuals that can be used in container gardens or home landscapes. I'm sure the plants we will carry are
going to be real show stoppers.
The landscape scene looks really good. If you need help just give us a call- the earlier, the better.
This year I look forward to working with my son landscaping . He also is excited, I think, more for the money to buy the new
Playstation III that's out in May. He really appreciates the things he pays for with the money he makes. Dad likes this too- he has
more money!!
Lisa will be in and out more this year. A big project with the Quad City Arts will keep her busy. We will let you know about the
show and more info on our resident artist at a later date or you can check out her website at www.lhlefevre.com. The crew will be
basically the same Lisa, Jim, Peggy, Sackett, and yours truly, Bud. Get the bug and stop out for a big slug of Distinctive Gardens
this spring. I'm sure you'll enjoy the visit.
