Happy New Year!
It's a winter wonder land out there some days and other's a temperate mid-
spring oasis. That's a Midwest winter for you. Let's hope we don't experience
too great a fluctuation in temperature and a nice cover of insulating snow would
be nice. Plants in the landscape are without cover right now and a deep freeze
would be tough on them. They have to be survivors in order to make it through
an up and down Illinois winter any more.
We’re gearing up for this coming spring. It will be here before you know it.

We hope all of your holidays were splendid and that you’re ready for a great
2008 growing season. We have got some interesting things we’re working on
with both plants and events.
