GARDENSTOCK is an annual art & music festival put on by Distinctive Gardens of
Dixon, Illinois, which raises funds for a different non-profit organization each year in
which 100% of all proceeds go to the beneficiary. Gardenstock is the brainchild of Bud
LeFevre, owner of Distinctive Gardens. "I've always wanted to use the business grounds
for a fundraising event like this. The thing that is most important to me is that 100% of
the donations go to the Sinnissippi Center's Gardening Program. All event and
promotional costs are paid by Distinctive Gardens and all of the bands in the line-up are
donating their time", says LeFevre. “We want people to come out, enjoy the entire day
and bring the entire family. Throw a chair or blanket in the car, and bring a picnic basket
along with all the fixins’,” added LeFevre.
