House band, then Carolina Dog, now known as Wrong Element played under a pop-up tent to the crowd. Rosie Donoho took Best Chili that year and would prove to be a force to be reckoned with in years to come. Chili Fest has grown to a festival with over two dozen chili's and over 400 festival goers. In 2010, Chili Fest donated proceeds to benefit Second Saturdays Art Happenings, a local community art program. |
