Terry & Ann Potts work up a
"little" number using: "Solar
Sunrise" Coleus, "Black Heart"
Sweet Potato Vine, and Four
O'clocks.

There would be no Distinctive Gardens without Great Customers
It's a simple statement, but, oh so true. Little places like ours would not exist if it
were not for the support of a community of great customers. It is a natural then, to
showcase their gardening and wonderful creativity. Check out what our flower
friends have been up to. Send us your pics using Distinctive Gardens plants. Help
my mush brain out with listing the plant names if you can. If you can't, no bother.
We'll punt if we can't figure it out. No stress here! Cheers!

Here is an example of a
beautifully designed container
garden. The sweet potato vine
leaf shape and the coleus shape
compliment each other. There is
a delicate little number (which I
can not identify at the moment!)
that also adds foliar interest. The
color scheme is calm, almost
monochromatic, and weaved
together with various shades of the base colors purple and green. The four
oclocks have really added and unusual vertical to this container. Now, that is no
surprise when it comes from the Pott's yard and the careful creativity of Terry.
Meticulous comes to mind when I think of how Terry puts his containers together.
He and Ann come in early to scout out the potential candidates for the new
season's containers. Seems to me that this visit usually winds up with us
chatting with Ann while Terry quietly works his way through the first house. He
takes his time. We leave him alone. And, look, he comes up with the most
beautiful combinations. Thanks for sharing with us Terry and Ann!
