HOT PEPPERS

Ancho Gigantea       
Dark green heart-shaped 3" - 4" almost black fruit.  Called
"Poblano" when fresh and green and "Ancho" when dried.  The
standard Mexican variety for sauces and stuffing.  Not real hot.

Biker Billy       
Extremely hot jalapeno pepper.  Fruit is 2" long and great for
salsas and other dishes.

Bulgarian Carrot       
Heirloom florescent orange fruit 1" x 3.5" long borne in large
clusters.  Very Hot!

Charleston Hot       
Yellow-green to golden 5" to 6" long fruit with a blunt nose.  
Foliage color is a yellow green and fruit is very hot.

El Jefe       
Hybrid, large smooth jalapeno that is high yeilding.  Fruit is hot
and has less cracks iin the skin.

Elephant's Trunk       
East Indian with deep red curved pods 1" x 10" long.  A very
productive producer and hot.

Espanola       
A narrow pointed chile.  Faster thqan all other chilies to turn
red and a great plant for northern growing.  Very Hot!

Fish       
An heirloom with green and white foliage.  Fruit is 2-3" long,
ripens cream with green stripes to orange with brown stripes
to all red.  Very hot.

Holy Mole'       
2007 AAS winner has chocolate brown fruit that are 7-9" long
and 1 1/2" in diameter.  Fruit are mild.

Inferno       
Hybrid, very productive banana type, medium green to yellow
fruit 8" x 1.5". Hot and great for salsa!

Mucho Nacho       
Hybrid, high yeilding variety that produces 4" Jalapeno peppers
that are hotter than standard Jalapeno's.

Peru Yellow       
Medium, think walled, 4.5" x .75" fruit that turns yellow at
maturity with intense heat.

Prairie Fire       
Yellow-green 1/2" x 1" fruit above foliage changing from
chartreuse to cream to yellow to orange and finally red.  Great
for container gardens.  Hot!

Pretty Purple       
All purple leaves, stems, flowers, and unripe peppers.  Fruit
ripens to red against purple foliage of plant.  Very hot!!

Serrano       
2" long fruit that are very hot.  Good in chili, guacamole, pickled,
or salsa.

Squash Red or Yellow
Patty pan shaped fruit up to 2" across and very hot.  Great for
pickling or dried.

Ariane
Hybrid green to orange, 3-4 lobed thick skin, TMV (Tomato
Mosaic Virus) resistant, high yeilding and excellent flavor.

Big Early
Hybrid stuffer large enough for two.  Fruits are 3-4 lobed and 8"

Buran
